ABOUT ME

From my earliest days, music has been a constant companion and a driving force in my life. Guided by my supportive parents, I began my musical journey at the age of three, setting the stage for a lifelong passion. As I grew, I immersed myself in the world of performance, taking part in musicals both in my community and at school, which ignited a deep love for the arts.

I pursued this passion academically by earning a Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in Vocal Performance from Bellarmine University. This educational foundation led me to Sacred Heart School for the Arts, where I spent three enriching years teaching music to students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. My role extended beyond the classroom, encompassing responsibilities as a private instructor, music director, and stage director.

After my tenure at Sacred Heart, I continued to refine my craft at a new studio, where I taught for two years before venturing out to establish my own studio. This new chapter allowed me to reconnect with my performing roots, and I have since been actively involved in community theater productions across Louisville.

When I’m not teaching or performing, I enjoy expressing my creativity through songwriting, crafting, and exploring various artistic endeavors. Each of these pursuits enriches my life and feeds into my passion for music and the arts.

Welcome to my world of music and creativity—I’m thrilled to share this journey with you!

TESTIMONIALS

  • "For years, I had been told that singing was my weakest skill. I loved singing but was always too quiet and felt like something was holding me back. Collette slowly pulled me out of my comfort zone and showed me how my perfectionism and muscle tension was holding me back. Her lessons on technique and genuine companionship had me eager to return. When you're taking lessons with her, you're not only working on your voice, you're also making a dear friend and supporter."
